Oliver Rain / Earthside Session
Jess & Trent welcomed their little boy Oliver Rain into the world early June and what an absolute divine baby he is! I arrived at their beautiful home to Trent opening the door for me with the biggest smile I have ever seen on a first time dad. He was smitten. I Instantly felt right at home with these beautiful parents.
Jess fed little Ollie. while we shared stories and talked about their new journey that was only just beginning. Ollie was 3 weeks old and ever so settled. He enjoyed snuggles with mum on her chest, being held by dad and absolutely rocked his portraits!
The first 3 weeks of life is something I can’t describe or put into words, it’s the most surreal experience to be invited into someones home to document their most precious milestones, particularly when babe is still so fresh. Those first 3 weeks newborns are still so squishy, it makes for the most miraculous image gallery.
These lifestyle newborn sessions (Earthside sessions) are the most amazing way to document this stage of your journey. Whether your babe is 3 weeks, 7 days or 2 months, their really is no wrong age. I will however always have a great fondness for those miraculous first few weeks of life. How truly magnificent it is! Every baby unique & every family captured in their own way.
Enjoy one of the most divine image galleries to date. I love this one so whole heatedly and I cannot wait for the next little bundle to greet my lens!
If you would like your newborn documented, please please reach out! I would love nothing more then to capture this journey for you.
Thank you Jess & Trent for opening your hearts & home for me to photograph your story & capture your journey. I will be forever grateful.
All my love,
Meg x
